Our commitment

JC's Landscaping LLC is committed to making www.jclandscapingllc.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the W3C, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project.

What we've done

  • Pages use semantic HTML and a logical heading structure.
  • All meaningful images have descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Interactive elements (forms, navigation, buttons) work with a keyboard and have visible focus states.
  • Color contrast meets WCAG AA on body text and important controls.
  • The layout is responsive and works on common screen sizes from phones to desktops.
  • Forms include labels and inline error messages.
  • Page navigation does not rely on color or hover state alone.

Known limitations

We know not every page is perfect. Areas we are actively working to improve:

  • Some older blog images may have generic alt text from the original WordPress import. We update these as we find them.
  • Some interactive components (image gallery lightbox, before/after slider) are usable by keyboard but could provide richer screen-reader announcements.
  • Embedded third-party content (maps, social media widgets) is governed by those providers' accessibility practices, which may differ from ours.

Reporting an accessibility issue

If you run into a barrier on our site, please tell us. Include the page you were on, the device and assistive technology you were using (if any), and what you were trying to do.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and fix issues as quickly as we reasonably can. If you need help with information or a service on this site, we'll provide it through an accessible channel — call us and we'll walk you through anything you need.

Formal complaints

If you've reported an issue and you're not satisfied with our response, you can also file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act at ada.gov/file-a-complaint.
