The Town of Prosper is committed to water conservation with specific watering schedules to protect this vital resource. Here’s what you need to know:

• Watering Schedule: From April 1 – October 31, watering is permitted twice per week on designated days based on your zone. Watering is prohibited between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to minimize evaporation.

• New Sod/Landscape Variance: The town offers a crucial 30-day watering variance for newly installed sod or landscaping. This allows for the frequent watering needed to establish healthy roots, outside of the standard schedule. You must apply for this variance by contacting waterconservation@prospertx.gov .
